Dr Philip Barker, Associate Lecturer (UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies – SSEES)
Philip Barker earned a doctorate in the ’Development of Hungarian Political Language and the Birth of the Ancient Constitution 1790/91’ at UCL-SSEES, which focused on the development of political ideas and their corresponding vocabularies in the Hungarian vernacular, and on the emergence of the idea of an 'ancient constitution' during the late eighteenth century.
