  Magyar Külügyi Intézet stratégiai igazgatóhelyetteseDr. Baranyi Tam
 ás 2010-ben szerzett diplomát az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetemen tö
 rténelem és amerikanisztika szakon. 2011-től 2015-ig a Terror Háza Mú
 zeumban dolgozott\, három évig kutatási vezetőként. 2018-ban védte m
 eg doktori disszertációját az ELTE-n. 2015 és 2020 között az Antall 
 József Tudásközpont kutatási vezetője volt. 2013 óta több felsőokt
 atási intézményben oktat geopolitikai kurzusokat. 2020 februárja óta 
 a Magyar Külügyi Intézet stratégiai igazgatóhelyettese.Moderátor: Ki

 nglish. John O' Sullivan – President\, Danube InstituteMr. O’Sullivan
  is President and founder of the Danube Institute in Budapest\, internatio
 nal editor of Quadrant Magazine in Sydney\, Australia\; associate editor 
  of the Hungarian Review\; a fellow of the National Review Institute and e
 ditor at large of National Review.  He is a co-founder and director of Tw
 enty-First Century Initiatives as well as the International Reagan Thatche
 r Society. He served as a Special Adviser and speechwriter to Prime Minist
 er Margaret Thatcher.  He was the founder and co-chairman of the New Atla
 ntic Initiative\, launched at the Congress of Prague in May 1996 by Presi
 dent Vaclav Havel and Lady Thatcher. It played a major role in bringing th
 e countries of Central and Eastern Europe into NATO. His book\, "The Presi
 dent\, the Pope\, and the Prime Minister\," on the roles played by Pope Jo
 hn Paul II\, President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher in the collapse 
 of communism and the revival of Western market democracies\, has been publ
 ished in English\, Portuguese\, Spanish\, Czech\, Polish\, Italian\, and H
 ungarian.David Martin Jones - Director of Research\, Danube InstituteDavid
  Martin Jones is a Visiting Professor and teaching fellow in War Studies a
 t King’s College\, University of London and Honorary Visiting Professor 
 at the University of Buckingham. He graduated from the London School of Ec
 onomics and has taught at the National University of Singapore\, the Unive
 rsity of Tasmania\,  and the University of Queensland.  He has authored 
 and co-authored 11 books with major academic presses. His most recent publ
 ications include History’s Fools\, the Pursuit of Idealism and the Reven
 ge of Politics (2020) and The Strategy of Maoism in the West (2022.  His 
 essays on political development and political violence have appeared inter
  alia in International Affairs\, Comparative Politics\,  Orbis\, Quadrant
 \,   International Security\, The National Interest and The Critic.Tamá
 s Baranyi - Deputy Director for Strategy\, Institute for foreign affairs a
 nd tradeBaranyi Tamás has received his MA degree in History and American 
 Studies at Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest in 2010. From 2011 he h
 as worked at the House of Terror Museum as a historian\, then\, from 2012 
 to 2015 as Head of Research. He defended his PhD thesis in 2018 at the Dep
 artment of Modern and Contemporary History at Eötvös Loránd University 
 about the changing elbow-room of Hungrian foreign policy during the era of
  détente. From 2013 to 2019 he was external lecturer at the same departme
 nt. From 2015 to 2020 he was Head of Research of the Antall József Knowle
 dge Centre. From 2019 he is Adjunct Professor at Pázmány Péter Catholic
  University. From February 2020 he is Deputy Director for Strategy at the 
 Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade. His research area are the history
  of the United States and the Cold War\, foreign political strategy\, and

 lations expert. He has earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Pázm
 ány Péter Catholic University and at the University of Edinburgh. Curren
 tly he is working on his PhD at his alma mater. From 2013 to 2018 he worke
 d at the Századvég Foundation first as a Research Fellow then as a Senio
 r Research Fellow. Formerly\, he worked as a Political Adviser in the Prim
