Leírás

In the context of the First World War, Galicia occupied a distinctive position within the Austro-Hungarian Empire. On the one hand, it served as a primary staging ground for the Austro-Hungarian military and the site of the most significant battles with the Russian forces. On the other, it constituted a pivotal element in the projected future of Polish statehood. The objective of this event is to disseminate the latest findings of research conducted in Poland and at our institute to a Hungarian audience.
