Understanding the relationship between crises and international cooperation is essential in a time of rapid geopolitical change. The International Relations and Diplomacy Conference brings together scholars, researchers and experts to discuss the key challenges and opportunities that are shaping the landscape of global politics and security.
The conference will cover topics such as international relations, regional security, diplomacy, and security studies. We welcome faculty members, researchers, and PhD students from Hungarian and international institutions to share their research and engage in dialogue.

(The abstract evaluation process takes approximately 14 days, and applicants will be informed of the acceptance decision on a rolling basis. Please note that the number of participants is limited. Information for Participants:
· The working languages of the conference are English, Hungarian and Spanish.

· Abstract requirements: The abstract should be 150-200 words in length, written in the presentation language (English, Hungarian, or Spanish), and include 5 keywords.
· Book of Abstracts: All accepted abstracts will be published in our online Book of Abstracts.
· Presentations: Should not exceed 20 minutes and can be delivered in English, German, Hungarian, or Spanish.
· Registration fee: Free registration, which includes participation in the conference, the program, the Book of Abstracts, and a Certificate of Participation.
Publication Opportunity: We are currently working on securing publication opportunities in several peer-reviewed journals. The deadline for submission of papers is 31 August 2025. Please note: The number of participants is limited. The conference will be held on-site in the Education Building at the Ludovika Campus (University of Public Service, Budapest). In exceptional cases, the conference organizing committee may:
- Allow online participation for those unable to attend in person. Please, note that the number of online participants is limited.
- Online presentation day: October 3, 2026 (Saturday) 10:00 – 20:00 (Online – MS Teams, CET- Central European Time)
- Accept Master’s students as participants, depending on the relevance of their research.
