Leírás
A Preconditioned Spherical Generalized Additive Model was developed
to investigate the spatial compatibility of Gamma-Ray Burst (GRB)
redshift subpopulations within the Swift GRB catalog for constructing redshift completeness maps. Also the spatial differences between optical afterglow spectroscopy or host-galaxy observations defined groups were tested by different spherical spatial statistics, including Monte Carlo log-likelihood permutation tests, the Maximum Mean Discrepancy, the spherical Ripley's K-function, and the two-dimensional
Fasano-Franceschini test. The results did not reveal spatial differences between the two subpopulations.
