It has been more than a year since the far-reaching and devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic made their appearance in the world. In response to these global challenges, national governments have introduced various restrictive measures and were complied to adapt their respective public policies and administration to these new circumstances. Though our global combat with the virus may yet be far from its end, still one may already see the green shoots of recovery. But what shall the post-pandemic world of politics look like? The conference invites contributions to approximate this very question by seeking to explicate the most probable scenarios for post-COVID politics and public administration. Submissions addressing the following topics are especially welcomed:

  •   COVID's challenges to democracies
  •   new perspectives of eGovernence
  •   new societal challenges to public administration
  •   fiscal and monetary responses, relief measures
  •   global politics in a post-pandemic world
  •   EU politics in a post-pandemic world
  •   ethical dilemmas in public administration and policy-making
